There are a number of posters that are having installation problems with Office either hanging, freezing or not completing microslft installation process. Just create a new name and then close and then reboot your system, and then try loginging into Outlook. It’s also that you did a “clean” install when you first installed Outlook. If you did not do a “clean” install then I would first un-install all verions of Office then reboot, install a “clean” Office , then reboot, and you should be good to go.

Try searching for your Normal. Word will create a new Normal. Also, consider changing to the bit version of Office. You only need the bit version if you need to work on very large Excel workbooks. Since you get no indication of an error message, try installing one more time, this time using “Verbose Logging”. You can post the generated Logs in Onedrive and give a link to them to your technician if you need technical help. I found a pattern in one verbose log file set that I have not yet had a chance to confirm in others, but you can give it a try.

The pattern is each log file is for a separate component. If you open the files from the start and jump to the bottom of each file you will see that they report successful install of a component.
