All the other one star critics are quite right.

I paid for the in program bluray authoring upgrade but it doesn’t really work. It does populate the options and they look great, but exporting video produces an image but won’t burn directly without hanging, and in any case there is no audio on the movie file or it’s out of synch with the video and nothing seems to help! It produced a MOV file in HD that seemed to play fine but it won’t burn without dropping the audio or being badly out of synch with the video.

Even tried to use MYDVD that comes with it but it also produces an image with no sound on the main features. Very frustrating and in some cases heartbreaking as I was trying to get out a memorial movie. Giving two stars since it does have good editing and authoring tools but they only marginally work.

Worse yet, maybe the patch would help, but you can’t find it as it loops back and forth to their knowledge base page to the patch description but no download link works. There’s some third party patches reported with links and I tried them all, but they won’t update the product saying its the wrong one.

I think they may have had it with this thing, and I’m a hundred bucks out. Update: I upped the rating as this product actually works with 3D and processes it pretty well. I recommend getting Nero to do the burning. Pinnacle can create an image but it can be best burned with something else though.

If I ever get a response from them about how to find the patch and it works then there would be no reason to not love this program entirely. Update: Raised to five stars as I am now better informed that the program is working and patched at the highest level when I bought it.

After some fiddling, I did get it to burn everything well. It pulls 3d content from the disk or devices and identifies it automatically settng up a movie or disk. Great transitions. I was very excited to buy Pinnacle Studio 19 because of the feature set it offers. However, after using it for several days it’s become apparent to me that this is a bug filled piece of software that can’t do some basic things properly, like handle 60fps mpeg-4 video from my Samsung camcorder properly.

After exporting, every video clip that includes my camcorder video has a gray screen and a circular arrow during the last few frames of each clip. No other editor has issues with the camcorder clips.

Because of that, I’m not able to use it for the very basic functionality of even stitching videos together. I purchased Pinnacle Studio 20 and had nothing but problems, so I received a refund and purchased Pinnacle Studio This program works has it should. There are the titles that I wanted, and there are not the program errors I was receiving with Studio It worked great and then one day it just Very disappointed One person found this helpful. Best editing software for the price. I feel that Studio 12 was easier to use but I wanted some of the newer features so I am willing to go through the learning curve.

I had always loved this program however when I upgrade to version 19 I got all kinds of error messages when I tried to use it. Every time I tried to import file a message an error would appear or shut me down.

The most ignoring of all is when you try to do transition or add a text it just keep popping up a message that stop the program from continuing. I have to do a complete shut down before I could use it again. I hope they a fix for this or else I just wasted my money for this program.
