A clean install will have to delete all data on the device so the first thing to do is to backup all you personal files. Once you can boot from the USB drive you select Language then Install now and Custom install, at that point delete all partitions one at a time until you only have unallocated space, select next and follow the prompts.

Microsoft Office is different you may still be able to use the licence providing you can use the same email account after leaving the university. I don’t necessarily need Windows 10 Pro. Even Home is fine. All I want is a legitimate Windows copy on my machine.

And I think my situation doesn’t arise from any sort of illegitimacy, as the university should’ve provided all of us Windows 10 Home or pro version if they were going to allow us to keep our laptops.
